| Your Music, Our Passion: What does it mean?
"Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. It is as if they are showing you the way." Donald Miller, Blue Like Jazz. |
| Originally formed in the spring of 2006, the group retains founding members Dennis Negrin on Trumpet and Benjamin Maisonet on Tuba. |

| We are much more than just another Brass Ensemble, we are passionate, driven musicians committed to enhancing the quality of life through great music. Maisontet Brass exists to enrich, educate and entertain all those who would grace us with an audience, become our students or utilize our services. |
| In an ever changing, often chaotic world, we sometimes fail to realize the sublime power in our ability to communicate with one another. Whatever the medium; music, art, poetry, drama or dance, our capacity for empathy, emotion and love depends on it.
Our passions, our languages and our very lives are entwined with one another and only through this acknowledgment can we improve our condition. We, the musicians at Maisontet Brass, started this project in the spring of 2006 with one goal in mind: To make beautiful music. In the process, we discovered that musicians need to eat, students must be taught and strong communities are vital to the success or failure of any enterprise. We believe, and hope you do too, that music plays a more pertinent role in our daily lives than ever before. It is a defining, international language that heals, unites and compels. Your music is our passion and we look forward to working with you. |
